Pete Weber

Born on August 21, 1962

Pete Weber learned to bowl when he was only two years old from his bowling champ father Dick Weber in Florissant MO. Beginning in 1982, he won 37 Professional Bowlers Association Tour titles including 10 majors, banked 14 PBA50 titles, notched two Triple Crowns, and won an unprecedented five US Opens and two PBA Senior US Opens, enshrining him in the PBA and USBC Halls of Fame. He amped up bowling audiences with his adrenaline-packed big personality. In the dramatic final frame of the 2012 US Open, he needed a strike to win. Pete Weber slammed all ten pins and exploded like dynamite in brash cries of victory that fueled one of the most viral moments in sports history.
